Cancellation and Refund

At Som Sparsh, every product is prepared, packed, and handled with care to ensure quality, hygiene, and a safe customer experience. Since our products fall under the personal care and cosmetic category, we follow a hygiene-first cancellation, return, and refund policy.

By placing an order on SomSparsh.com, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only before they are packed or dispatched.

Once an order has been packed, shipped, or handed over to the courier partner, it cannot be cancelled. This is because cosmetic and personal care products require safe, sealed, and hygienic handling once prepared for delivery.

To request cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number.

No Cancellation After Dispatch

Once your order has been dispatched, we will not be able to cancel it. You may still contact us in case of any issue, and our team will guide you based on the order status.

Returns

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns for opened, used, damaged-after-delivery, or tampered cosmetic and personal care products.

Returns or replacements may be considered only in the following cases:

  • You received the wrong product

  • You received a damaged product

  • You received a product with leakage or broken packaging

  • The product received is different from what you ordered

To be eligible for review, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Reporting Damaged or Wrong Products

If you receive a damaged, leaked, or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following details:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Clear photos of the outer packaging

  • Unboxing video, if available

  • Description of the issue

Once we receive the details, our team will review the case and offer a suitable resolution, such as a replacement or refund, depending on the situation.

Refunds

Refunds are applicable only in approved cases, such as:

  • Successful cancellation before packing or dispatch

  • Product unavailable after payment

  • Approved damaged, leaked, or wrong-product complaint

  • Order not delivered due to an issue from our side or the courier partner

Once approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. The actual time taken for the amount to reflect may depend on your bank, payment provider, or UPI service.

Replacement

In case of an approved damaged, leaked, or wrong-product complaint, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, depending on product availability and the nature of the issue.

Replacement will not be provided if:

  • The product has been used

  • The product seal has been broken

  • The issue is reported after 48 hours of delivery

  • The damage occurred after delivery due to mishandling

  • The product was purchased from an unauthorised seller or third-party source

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • The customer changed their mind after dispatch

  • The customer ordered the wrong product by mistake

  • Product fragrance, texture, or feel does not match personal preference

  • The product has been opened, used, or tampered with

  • Incorrect delivery address or contact details were provided by the customer

  • Delivery failed due to customer unavailability

  • Issue reported after 48 hours of delivery

Prepaid Orders

For prepaid orders cancelled before packing or dispatch, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.

If the order has already been packed or dispatched, cancellation and refund will not be possible unless there is an approved issue with the product or delivery.

Cash on Delivery Orders

For Cash on Delivery orders, cancellation is allowed only before packing or dispatch. Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled.

Repeated refusal of COD orders may lead to restriction of Cash on Delivery availability for future orders.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable once the order has been shipped, unless the refund is due to an error on our side.
